Hi, I'm looking for citations (articles preferred, monographs fine though) about the history of the English only movement, as well as any scholarly research done about such English-only groups as English First, U.S. English, and Pro-English. I'm also looking for references about anti-immigrant sentiment, especially anti-bilingualism, in the American colonial period. So far, I have James Crawford's classic, Bilingual Education: History, Politics, Theory and Practice, but only the introduction. Thanks! Chris Ziegler-McPherson Christina A.
