The English Department at the University of Delaware seeks to hire an associate or full professor of 19th -century American literature, with tenure, with research interests in issues of race and ethnicity. Applicants with demonstrated interdisciplinary interests and experience contributing to diversity initiatives on campus are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will teach upper-division undergraduate and graduate courses in his/her area(s) of expertise and will contribute to general education in literature and writing.
