Perhaps I'm missing something (not for the first time)... I realize there is a similar line in the PVL under the year 898. But I cannot find the _ exact_ wording of the inscription in print or online versions. And yet I would be surprised if the sculptor Klykov invented the variant on his own. If you don't mind, please forward the relevant link (off-list: to avoid further public demonstration of my incompetence).
