There is some material on guerilla attacks on air bases in Thailand in the Central Foreign Policy Files for Thailand, 1967-69 (Boxes 2319 and 2320 in particular) at the US National Archives. There are also some documents on the matter in the Administrative History of the USIA, Vol.1, Box 1 at the LBJ Library - primarily dealing with the July 1968 attack on Udorn which destroyed several aircraft. The NSF Country Files on Thailand at the LBJ library also have some general field reports on the communist insurgency in Thailand which discuss activity against Thai and US forces in some districts during much of the Vietnam War period. In my own research (on the US and Thailand during the Vietnam War) I also came across the occasional discussion in some state department cables found at the USNA and presidential libraries.
