I recently asked for recommendations of World War II books for next semester, and now I have another query. I'm also designing a readings course on the Vietnam War that will comprise between 8 and 10 books on the subject. And so I ask you: What are the most important (and best) books about Vietnam? Readability is a plus, I want to cover as many facets of the war as possible, and a student who will be taking the course said that he is most interested in reading about the draft. (I would also appreciate suggestions of important articles about the war.) Please either reply to the listserv or e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org Thank you!
