I'm not sure if you are looking for descriptions/replicas of the individual medicines or period mixtures of medicines to treat specific illnesses. I contacted a surgeon-friend of mine who does research in and re-enactments of Civil War medicine to see if he could help out. This is what he provided. Hope it helps.
