Hi all, I'm looking to put together a panel at the upcoming Midwest Popular Culture Association/American Cultural Association to be held in Indianapolis, IN October 3-5. My own research examines girls in popular media at the turn of the twentieth century. I think a really strong panel might examine all roles within the family, i.e. boys/sons, girls/daughters, adult women/moms, and adult men/dads. That being said, I'm definitely open to other ideas as well. If you are interested in being on a panel, send your CV and a 250 word abstract to email@example.com no later than April 30, 2014. Below is the conference CFP.
