Family: Searching for the Fairest Love Date: Fri, June 27, 2008 9:09 am Why on earth would Notre Dame be running a conference at which they will celebrate the anniversaries of Mulieris Dignitatem and Humanae Vitae? Though both contain much of value, they are best known for the effort to preclude further discussion of women in ordained ministry and the ban on artificial birth control. In other words, not only are these two of the most destructive of recent papal documents, they are also two of the prime examples of non-reception by the Church, and hence of serious ecclesial irrelevance.
