The position is conditionally approved and is pending final approval. We seek a teacher-scholar broadly trained in International Relations, pursuing any specialization in the field. Candidates with training in international political economy, peace and conflict resolution, conflict studies, or globalization are particularly welcome. The successful candidate will also hold a graduate certificate or its equivalent in Womens Studies, as this is a joint appointment. The person in this position will have the responsibility of teaching an introductory International Relations course and upper-level electives in international relations, as well as the Introduction to Womens Studies course, a course in Transnational Feminism, and other upper-level electives in Womens Studies. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and have his or her Ph.D in hand or completed by August 23, 2010 .
