The area of specialisation is open but an interest in world, global and trans-national history since 1500 is essential, as is a capacity to work across disciplines, regions and/or time periods. The appointee will undertake teaching and research as well as supervising honours and postgraduate students. They will be expected to develop a major research project and apply for research grants.
