Dear list, it is impossible to write about anything these days without
taking up ongoing bizarre collective representations of Jews, including
"Jews" of often incompatible belief systems. In two recent short blogs, I
have tried to deal with current events.

The "Malkin" in the latter blog refers to Anthony Malkin, apparently a
Reform Jew, who heads the real estate syndicate that owns the Empire State
Building, and who is a thorn in the side of some conservatives.
