Dear friends, I am happy to present to you a new publication which I have the honour to Chair. The first edition of The Journal for the Study of Antisemitism is available on line at www.jsantisemitism.org The Journal will reserve space in each issue for an article never translated into English,whether published or unpublished in another language, thus bringing otherwise unavailable analysis of antisemitism to the Anglophone reader Similarly, the Journal's columns will be open to junior scholars and appropriate non-academic voices from civil society I wish to thank all those, listed and unlisted, involved in the Journal's gestation, but especially my friends, Steve Baum and Neal Rosenberg, who bear its co-paternity and made it a reality May this effort be both descriptive and prescriptive in containing the ever-persistent scourge of antisemitism Shimon Samuels, Chair The Journal for the Study of Antisemitism -- Yocheved Menashe List Editor, H-Antisemitism
