Hello all, Since I posted the message about the "Real Animals and the Humanities" conference at Southwestern University this coming February, several people have asked for clarification. The conference is most certainly open to anyone who is interested! Please let me know. I have a grant to help fund participants from Texas institutions, so that is the only constraint. There is no registration fee and, for any participants, three meals will be covered - dinner on Feb 17, breakfast and lunch on Feb 18. The conference actually ends at noon on February 18 so it is a 24-hour event. Again, please be in touch if you would like to join us for this conference and conversation with Marc Bekoff, Carol Adams, and Paul Waldau. Laura Hobgood-Oster hoboster@southwestern.edu 512-863-1669
