Good morning! I am seeking contributors for a forthcoming (2011) three-volume collection from Praeger Publishers entitled, American Indians and American Popular Culture, part of the Praeger Perspectives series. Areas of interest that still need essays include: Traditional American Indian Music; Contemporary American Indian Music (individuals and groups); Native American Music Awards (NAMMYs);Modern and/or Contemporary American Indian Art; Jim Thorpe and/or American Indian Athletes; American Indians and War (e.g. Native veterans, Navajo Code Talkers, Ira Hayes, etc.); Leonard Peltier These broad subjects may be focused depending on your expertise or interest.
