Dear Friends and Colleagues, Would anyone like to join me on a panel for the upcomaing annual meeting of the Pacific Coast Conference on British Studies, to be held on March 19-21, 2010, at Pomona College, just outside of LA? I am proposing a paper on scientific displays at ninteenth-century exhibitions, notably British and Australian exhibits and shows. It is a broad overview of the history of those displays and some of the historical and theoretical questions raised by them. Please let me know if you would like to join me.
