Walters, the legendary civil rights activist, political strategist and distinguished scholar, who passed away on Friday, September 10 at the age of 72, will take place in Washington, D.C. On Sunday, September 19, a memorial service will be held at Howard University, On Monday, September 20, the funeral service will be held at the historical Shiloh Baptist Church and officiated by Reverend Jesse Jackson. Burial services will be held at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, Maryland.
