We are looking for articles, papers, and\or interviews on effective ways to
identify, teach, and connect with African and African American students in
Volume 1 Issue 1 of our official magazine--The Paradigm Shift. The Paradigm
Shift is peer reviewed and devoted to research, theoretical, and practical
approaches in composition and rhetoric for minority students and will be
published twice per year. Suggested topics include but not limited to the
following: Grading Rubrics Writing Portfolios ePortfolios Hip Hop and Teaching
Writing Across The Curriculum Literacy Writing Critical Thinking Social Media
Please submit papers from 1-10 pages as an attachment to Dr. Akassi at
MAkassi@bowiestate.edu. Thank you.
