Episode 34 of Africa Past and Present -- the podcast about African
history,culture, and politics -- is now available at:

This episode, with co-host Laura Fair, features historian Charles Ambler
(UTEP) on the work of the African Studies Association and on his research on
African audiences 'from Hollywood to Nollywood.' Professor Ambler also
discusses his work on mass media and popular culture in colonial and
post-colonial Africa.
