Colleagues and friends of Francois Ngolet will be shocked and saddened
to learn that Francois passed away yesterday 11 April 2005 in hospital
after a short illness.  Those who knew this young and dynamic scholar
and teacher will surely want to find some way to commemorate his
contributions to African History and his warmth and humanity.
