Dear Colleagues, We are currently in the process of accepting applications for the 2014-2015 McDermott Internship Program at the Dallas Museum of Art, a paid internship program made possible by the Eugene McDermott Education Fund. The McDermott Internship provides those with an undergraduate or graduate degree in art, art history, museum studies, and related fields the chance to explore a museum career. McDermott Interns work closely with staff throughout the Museum and are provided opportunities for individual contributions, allowing them to gain an in-depth and well-rounded perspective on museum work. Eight internship positions are available, four each within the Curatorial and Education Divisions, with stipends of $13,000 or $14,000 depending on degree held. Please freely share this email with any interested colleagues and individuals, who can find detailed descriptions of each available position on our printable pdf Flyer. The Application Form can now be completed online through our website, but note that there is only a week and a half left to submit mailed materials, which must be postmarked by March 7, 2014. For additional information on the program, visit our website at www.dma.org/internships and view blog posts on DMA Canvas and Uncrated. Many thanks! Roslyn A.
